Much like email, RSS is still alive and well. Both are powerful tools for content marketers, and Dijest combines the two like never before. Your discovery feed can operate as a highly visual RSS reader that allows you to review, filter, bookmark and share content – but that’s not all. Your data sources can also be Twitter lists and hashtags, helping you keep on top of everything at once. Your feeds then form the basis of your email newsletters, with email content that automatically updates as your sources post new articles.

We’re the shiny and new food processor alternative to the creaky old slow cooker, letting anyone build a deliverable newsletter to a high standard in seconds. No experience needed, and prep time is an absolute minimum.
Dijest newsletters are made up of content cards – customisable blocks that you can drag and drop into position as you please. Cards are automatically generated from stories in your discovery feed, or you can add them yourself – simply put in a URL and Dijest does the rest, pulling through a title, description and image automatically. Alternatively, you can enter your own copy and images into a simple interface – the choice is yours. Cards automatically adjust in size to fit different areas of your template.
Ads are a special kind of content card, formatted a little bit differently to give more emphasis to anything you need to show your readers. These calls-to-action are ideal for links to social media or landing pages, and just give you a little bit more flexibility on how your emails look.
Themes & Layouts
Change the number of content cards your newsletter pulls through from your discovery feed or Facebook page, choose the number of ads to display, and select from one of our many pre-designed responsive themes. Change up colours to match your branding, add logos.
Custom text blocks give you space for extra images, videos, code or copy, so you can personalise even further. If you have the know-how, there’s nothing to stop you adding extra tweaks with HTML – but you can still build a fantastic email with the basic tools.
Filter Your Sources
Filling your email newsletter with content couldn’t be simpler – just select your preferred data source. Choose from the entirety of your discovery feed, pulling through either the newest or most successful content from your selected timeframe, or use your bookmarked content. Alternatively, connect your social media accounts and use the content you’ve posted to your Facebook page.

Well, Dijest does it all for you – images are automatically cropped to provide thumbnails and banners. It takes just a few clicks to connect with your provider – we currently work with MailChimp, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor, AWeber and Vertical Response – and you’ll instantly have access to all of your contact lists.
Worried about mobile? Don’t be. Over half of all emails are viewed on a mobile device – whether that’s a phone or a tablet – so all of our templates are completely responsive. From the largest iMac screen to the smallest smartphone, everything will be readable, clickable, and very dijestible.
Automatic Email Scheduling (premium)
First, set your template, data source, time period, and number of stories. Then, choose your frequency – daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or bi-monthly. Finally, select a day of the week, and the time, and your email newsletters are now scheduled. But best of all, as new stories hit your discovery feed, the email template will automatically update with new content – meaning your newsletters will update and send like clockwork, with absolutely no input needed from you. You can request a confirmation email if you want to have one last check and make any tweaks, but the process is otherwise completely automated.
